Our Story
Peacock Design Studio was founded in Egypt around one idea: what was left behind could become a language. Working between design, material research, and manufacturing, the studio transforms agricultural residues into contemporary objects and systems.
Nothing truly disappears. Everything transforms, from form to form, from use to possibility, from what remains to what comes next.
Peacock follows discarded materials before they are named useless. Palm rib is the first chapter. Not the final one.
What remained after the frond was left in fields, burned, or treated as waste. Gereed, the Egyptian craft that shaped it, once held in baskets, cages, and traditional furniture. Peacock opened another path for it, preserving the craft by expanding it.
Every piece is made in-house, at our own microfactory in Saqqara, where research, craft, and production meet under one roof.
